GymTagOps (gym equipment maintenance, without the chase) is a web app for independent gyms and small fitness teams. It is in early access: a free working preview with sample data is available, and paid plans are planned but not yet purchasable.

## What it does

- Equipment records: one record per machine with category, location, serial number, notes, photos, and service history.
- QR labels: every asset gets a QR code. Print A4 or Letter PDF label sheets on your own printer; no scanner is needed.
- Member issue reports: scanning a tag opens that machine's public page in a phone browser, where anyone can report a problem without an account or app.
- Issue follow-through: assign reports to a teammate, track status (reported, in progress, resolved), and keep resolution notes with the machine.
- Maintenance schedules: one-time and recurring tasks; completing recurring work schedules the next occurrence. Email reminders for due work are planned for launch.
- Spreadsheet import and export: import a CSV with preview, and export equipment and service history at any time.
- Teams: invite staff with roles. Internal notes, private photos, and staff details are never shown on public QR pages.

- Starter: $24 — For an owner and a teammate. 250 active assets, 2 team seats.
- Plus: $59 — For a bigger equipment list and team. 3,000 active assets, 5 team seats.

### Who is GymTagOps for?

GymTagOps is built for independent gyms and small fitness teams that need a shared place for equipment details, maintenance tasks, and reported problems. The same workflow can help other small facilities, too.

### Does everyone need an account?

No. A member or visitor can scan an enabled QR tag and report a problem in their phone’s browser. Your team signs in to manage equipment, assign work, and update records.

### Can I bring my existing spreadsheet?

Yes. Import a CSV with equipment names and asset IDs, plus optional categories, locations, serial numbers, and notes. Preview the rows before importing. You can export your equipment and service history again.

### Do I need to buy a scanner or special labels?

No scanner is needed. Use a phone camera to open a QR link, and download A4 or Letter PDF label sheets to print. Choose label material suitable for your equipment and cleaning routine.

### What can people see when they scan?

The equipment’s public details and instructions. Service history and photos are only public when you choose to share them. Internal notes, private photos, and staff details stay behind team sign-in.

### What is available in early access?

You can try equipment records, QR labels, maintenance schedules, issue reporting, and team controls with sample data. The preview fills a demo sign-in code automatically. Google sign-in, email delivery, and paid subscriptions are not connected yet.

### Will the preview charge me?

No. The preview does not collect payment details or charge you. The prices below describe the planned paid plans. Your preview workspace uses a demo identity tied to your browser, so use sample data only.
